Longwood Collective, Inc. in Boston, MA seeks a Full-Time Center Float Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

You will float between classrooms, assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisors, and help create a warm, safe environment that supports children's development. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, experience in child care, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work a flexible 8‑hour schedule from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, participate in physical activities, and supervise children.

Responsibilities

• Float between infant and toddler classrooms to gain hands‑on experience.
• Assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisors as needed.
• Work an 8-hour schedule between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (open/close).
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment supporting development.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and educators.
