Longwood Collective, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Teacher to plan and implement engaging activities for preschoolers aged about 3 to 4 years, while creating a warm, safe and nurturing learning environment.

The role requires candidates 18+, with a HS diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred but not required), prior child care experience, ability to lift 35 lbs, and a willingness to work two shifts (7 AM–3 PM Tue/Thu and 10 AM–6 PM Mon/Wed) with a rotating Friday shift.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
• Experience working with children in a child care, daycare, or preschool setting.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and curriculum for preschoolers ages 2.9 through 4 years.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes two shifts from 7 AM – 3 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, and two shifts from 10 AM – 6 PM on Monday and Wednesday, with one rotating shift per week on Fridays
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Build positive, supportive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators
