Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a Center-Based Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in Elk Grove, CA for a full-time role with weekday hours and a pay range of $18.00–$25.00 per hour. You will work in a center-based setting, supporting children and collaborating with a skilled team.

You will receive paid onboarding and ongoing training, supervision from BCBA staff, and clear paths for career growth into Lead BT, ABA Instructor, ACS, and BCBA roles.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to support coverage at nearby centers if needed.
  • No prior ABA experience required - we train you.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision.
  • Use play, movement, and creativity to engage children.
  • Collect accurate session data and progress notes.
  • Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills.

Role Overview

As a Center-Based Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with young children (typically ages 18 months-6 years) to support skill development through play-based, individualized ABA therapy. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, consistency, and compassionate care.
