Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee inquiries, guiding them through projects when needed.
• Show genuine appreciation to customers.
• Inform customers about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Coordinate delivery with customers and drivers.

In-stock

• Plan and execute delivery activities, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Prepare loads, build, and load trucks according to delivery schedules.
• Inspect products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
• Verify invoice details with loaded items.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Update delivery status in tracking systems.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
• Maintain vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and repairs.
• Complete DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
• Detect and report security risks like shoplifting or theft.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure a safe work environment, conducting safety reviews and hazard notices.
• Operate store equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with endorsements as required by location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Compliance with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months operating a forklift or Moffett for loading/unloading.
