Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper serving temperatures and appealing presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and stores or discards excess food per safety procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies and reports maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor.
