Job summary

Midwest Carpet Cleaning, a Servis Group Company, seeks a full-time Carpet Cleaning Technician for our Ypsilanti, MI office. You will clean carpets for residential and commercial locations while delivering top-quality customer service.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to job completion; on-call weekends. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour during training, with commission-based pay after training.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning carpet and making repairs.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Have a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and listen to customer needs.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning.
• Operate company vehicle across Southeast Michigan.
• Safely move furniture to prepare homes for cleaning.
• Identify stains/repairs and advise customers on solutions.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Carpet Cleaning Technician for our office in Ypsilanti, MI.

Summary

Responsible for solo carpet cleaning carpet for residential and commercial locations.

Available shift

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - completion of jobs & On-Call during weekends

Pay

$16.00 per hour during training period. Commission based only paid after training.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide great customer service delivering the highest quality carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning.


• Operate a company vehicle throughout Southeast Michigan, and use mounted and portable carpet extraction equipment.


• Safely move furniture to prepare homes for cleaning.


• Identify carpet repairs, stains and make recommendation to customer that will satisfy their needs.


• Knowledge of carpet repairs, dying, stain removal, replacing carpet bars and, extraction procedures.

• Have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check.
