Job summary

Midwest Carpet Cleaning, a Servis Group Company, is hiring a Full-Time Carpet Cleaning Assistant for our Ypsilanti, MI office. Responsibilities include cleaning carpets for residential and commercial locations and supporting the carpet techs on a daily basis.

The role requires the ability to operate cleaning equipment, drive the company van, and maintain safety protocols while delivering quality service. On-call rotation and consistent hours are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred (1 year).
• Able to work with minimal supervision and take direction.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Knowledgeable about carpet cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Drive company van.
• Clean and disinfect equipment.
• Operate truck mounted and portable carpet extraction equipment.
• Treat stains and clean surfaces.
• Collect payments from residents.
• Identify and report repairs.
• Adhere to on-call policy.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Full-Time Carpet Cleaning Assistant for our Ypsilanti, MI office.

Summary

Responsible for carpet technician cleaning carpet for residential and commercial locations.

Available shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - completion of jobs. (hours vary based on workload)

On-Call 1 week per month for emergency calls.

Monday - Friday

8:00AM - 5:00PM (End time may vary)

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions

• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Driving company van
• Clean and disinfect equipment
• Use truck mounted and portable carpet extraction equipment
