Job summary

Elevated Property Services is seeking a dependable Carpet Cleaning Technician to provide professional cleaning for residential and commercial clients. You will perform carpet cleaning, water extractions, and related surface cleaning, while maintaining safety and client relationships.

You must be able to lift 60+ lbs, work independently on a varied schedule including nights and weekends, and document services performed with accuracy. Paid training and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet cleaning services and water extractions in residential and commercial settings using approved cleaning methods (hot water extraction, specialty treatments)
• Clean additional surfaces including upholstery, area rugs, tile, grout, and hard flooring
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and service vehicles
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope of work, drying times, and post-service care
• Measure client spaces and prepare and present accurate carpet cleaning estimates
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of vehicle and equipment maintenance needs
• Proactively identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities for additional services and products
• Move and reposition furniture in occupied spaces as needed to facilitate carpet cleaning

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to provide professional cleaning services for both residential and commercial clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality results while maintaining excellent customer relationships across a variety of environments, including homes, offices, and multifamily properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpet cleaning services and water extractions in residential and commercial settings using approved cleaning methods (hot water extraction, specialty treatments)
• Clean additional surfaces assigned, including upholstery, area rugs, tile, grout, and hard flooring
• Conduct pre-inspections to identify stains, damage, and special treatment requirements
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and service vehicles
• Apply cleaning agents in compliance with manufacturer instructions and company standards
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope of work, expectations, drying times, and post-service care
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site
• Accurately document services performed, time on site, and any issues encountered
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while representing the company at all job sites
• Measure client spaces and prepare and present accurate carpet cleaning estimates to clients
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of vehicle and equipment maintenance needs
• Proactively identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities for additional services and products, including upholstery cleaning, tile cleaning, and fabric protectants
• Move and reposition furniture in occupied spaces as needed to facilitate carpet cleaning, in accordance with safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 60+ lbs and perform physical work including bending, kneeling, pushing and standing for extended periods
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and interacting with residential and commercial clients
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Preferred (Not Required):

• Prior experience in carpet cleaning, janitorial services, or facilities maintenance

Experience working in commercial buildings, offices, or multifamily properties

Schedule:

40 Hours/week on a rotating schedule that includes nights and weekends depending on need
