Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver to provide in-home support for a young man with I/DD, helping with daily activities and school tasks. The role emphasizes compassion, energy, and a fun, engaging approach to activities like puzzles and crafts.

The position is an independent contractor role paying $15.00 hourly, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. No weekend work expected. Training and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Participants must be 18 years or older.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

This position is an in-home position, providing care at the Individuals home. This individual is a young man who enjoys puzzles, crafts, painting, coloring and going for walks in his neighborhood. He will also be working on some of his school assignments and projects that the caregiver can help him with. He is very sweet and happy.

He requires the caregiver to prepare his food-basic meals already prepped by his parent. He requires reminders to chew slowly.

He requires assistance with all ADLs, and someone that enjoys interacting with a high energy child. He uses sign language and his device to communicate his needs.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $15.00 hourly.

Schedule

Monday to Friday from 6:45 a.m.-4:45 p.m. No weekends needed
