Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, offers full-time caregiver roles in West Virginia with day and evening schedules. A valid driver’s license and compassionate approach are required to support individuals with developmental disabilities in group homes.

You will help participants with daily living, personal care, transportation, and community activities, while benefiting from On Demand Pay, paid time off, and a full benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent requirement.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license required and access to a registered vehicle in some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to participants in waiver homes and group settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, nutrition, exercise and community participation.
• Foster respectful, compassionate relationships and respond calmly to challenging behaviors.
