Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a caregiver in West Virginia for a full-time day shift. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role runs Wed–Fri from 8a to 8p in the REM West Virginia program.

You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them grow, learn, and live well by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community participation. Pay includes On Demand options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care, and ability to stay calm under stress.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living activities and personal care.
• Help participants with budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Support participants to participate in community activities.
• Ensure safety and respond calmly in challenging situations.
