Job summary

Silverado is hiring Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on support for residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This on-site role in California emphasizes empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments daily.

You’ll help with daily activities, build relationships with residents and families, and maintain accurate care records while reporting changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia or memory impairment is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, 4 days on/ 2 days off, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Anticipated pay range: $19 USD - $22 USD
