Job summary

Silverado The Huntington is hiring compassionate caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory impairments. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and meaningful connections within a memory-care setting.

You will provide daily living assistance, build relationships with residents and families, and document care activities for the nursing team. The schedule is full-time with PM shifts, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairing conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range

$17 — $18 USD
