Job summary

Silverado is hiring Caregivers to provide hands-on support for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory-impairing conditions. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and relationship-building within a compassionate team.

You’ll work with residents, families, and staff to create meaningful moments every day. The position offers full-time hours, PM shift from Wednesday to Sunday, and pay ranging from $19 to $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team
