Cogir of Old Town, Alexandria is seeking compassionate Care Partners to provide direct, personalized care to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting safety, privacy, and dignity. This role works in a team to create a supportive environment for residents’ well-being.

You will engage residents in meaningful activities, coordinate with families and healthcare staff, and help sustain a respectful, enriching living community. Weekend rotation is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or obtainable per state rules.
• Current caregiver training/certification (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while following safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate care, engagement, and companionship to promote independence.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment programs and social activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping and room tidying as needed.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, and residents.
