Park Place of St. John, part of the Providence Life Services family, is seeking a Cook for Full Time to prepare meals in accordance with standards and policies, under the direction of the Administrator and Dietary Director.

The role focuses on quality food service across all meals and shifts. Hours available 4:00AM-12:30PM, 5:30AM-1:30PM, 9:30AM-6:00PM, and 10:00AM-6:30PM, with responsibilities including menu review, portion control, and standardizing preparation methods.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of professional Cook/Chef experience.
• Previous Cook experience for Healthcare environment ideal but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.

Responsibilities

• Review menus prior to preparation of food and ensure menus are maintained.
• Ensure dietary procedures are followed as per policy.
• Assist in standardizing methods of work.
• Prepare meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve meals in accordance with established portion control procedures.
