Job summary

InterVarsity Press seeks a Campus Staff Minister for Memphis to lead undergraduate ministry on campus and in related communities. The role involves spiritual formation, program leadership, and building partnerships with students, faculty, and local churches.

You will set annual goals, oversee ministry plans, and mobilize students to engage their networks with the gospel while modeling biblical leadership and teamwork in a diverse college setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Pursue spiritual growth and model a vibrant relationship with God through Scripture, prayer and worship.
• Lead campus ministry teams, set annual goals, develop ministry plans and align programs to achieve growth.
• Collaborate with local, area, regional, and national InterVarsity staff and volunteers to uphold standards of excellence and partnership.
• Develop and manage Ministry Partnership development by fundraising and maintaining donor relationships.
• Commit to InterVarsity policies and procedures and uphold the ministry’s Core Values.
