Job summary

InterVarsity Press seeks a Campus Staff Minister to serve on a four-year Alabama campus, leading undergraduate ministry with a biblically-driven vision for transformation. The role focuses on spiritual growth, campus leadership, collaboration, and ministry partnerships while raising funding to support campus outreach and student formation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Pursue a vibrant relationship with the triune God through Scripture, prayer and worship, individually and in community.
• Develop self-leadership, self-awareness, self-management and resiliency.
• Embrace Scriptural standards for behavior and attitudes.
• Create a culture of humble dependence on God and bold expectation in God’s plans.
• Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching and discipleship experiences.
• Set annual goals with teams for qualitative and quantitative growth.
• Develop ministry plans and structures to close gaps between reality and goals.
• Mobilize students and faculty to engage networks and start new missional communities.
