Job summary

InterVarsity is seeking a Campus Staff Minister to lead ministry among students and faculty at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This full-time on-site role focuses on vision casting, program development, and leadership of campus ministry teams, under the supervision of the Area Director.

The position emphasizes spiritual growth, partnership development, and strategic engagement with campus communities to establish new witnessing communities and advance the mission on and beyond campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for CSMs on a four-year campus; associate's degree for two-year campus or community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences.
• Communicate and model InterVarsity's vision to transform campuses and develop world changers.
• Develop ministry plans, programs, teams, and structures to reach annual goals and align activities with the vision.
• Mobilize students and faculty to engage relational networks with the gospel and start new witnessing communities.
• Collaborate with local, area, regional, and national InterVarsity staff and volunteers.
