Job summary

FirstService Residential in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring a Painter to maintain interiors and exteriors of buildings and units. The role involves prepping surfaces, selecting finishes, and applying paint in indoor and outdoor settings as needed.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of painting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the application of paint.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that security procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Painting of all common areas and touch up may be required.
• Responsible for inspecting areas that need paint and advising manager.
• Properly matches colors and mixes paint.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with building staff.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
