Job summary

Apscareerportal is seeking a dietary assistant to support the overall dietary program and meal preparation in accordance with federal and state standards. You will help ensure quality food service for residents, staff and guests.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, basic cooking tasks, and accurate simple calculations; regular attendance and fluent English are required. This is an on-site role with early morning hours and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes; basic cooking knowledge preferred.
• Able to perform simple calculations.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.

5am to 1:30pm, with an E/O weekend and E/O Holiday rotation

REPORTS TO:

Director of Nutrition Services or supervisor

POSITION:

Assists in the overall dietary program for the preparation of meals in accordance with current applicable federal and state standards. Assures quality food service for our residents, staff and guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes. Knowledge of basic cooking principles preferred.
• Able to perform simple calculations.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
