Job summary

Too Sweet Cakes LLC is seeking a skilled Bread Baker for production in a fast-paced bakery in Phoenix. You will produce a wide variety of breads and doughs, from baguettes to bagels, ensuring quality and consistency.

This full-time role requires 1–2 years of professional bread baking experience and a valid Food Handler Certificate. Expect 4:00 AM–12:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shifts, with $22–$24 per hour, 30–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years professional bread baking or dough production experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certificate is required.
• Strong passion for bread and continuous learning in bakery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Back of House Manager and team; participate in feedback.
• Hand-shape and portion dough products with consistency and care.
• Monitor fermentation, proofing, and timing for consistent results.
• Follow formulas, weights and procedures to ensure quality.
• Label, store and organize doughs and breads; maintain shelf life standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and assist with routine cleaning.
• Safely operate bakery equipment including mixers, sheeters, deck ovens and proofers.
• Track ingredient usage and report low inventory to manager.
• Meet daily/weekly production goals across product types.
• Perform additional production or cleaning tasks as needed.
