Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and maintain a smooth workflow across our clinics. You will greet patients, document histories, and assist with procedures to ensure a welcoming, efficient care environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred to support diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role required.
• Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
