Job summary

USA Clinics Group seeks a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient workflow across our Bethpage and Stony Brook clinics, ensuring a positive service experience.

You will greet patients, document vitals, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and support physicians before, during, and after procedures using EMR/EHR systems. English and Spanish fluency are required, along with a HS diploma and 1–2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role required.
• Experience performing vitals, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
