Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Bethpage and Stony Brook seeks a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient office workflow while supporting the physician before, during, and after procedures.

You will ensure an excellent service experience, document vital signs and histories in EMR/EHR, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and specimen collection, and participate in patient care with bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program; CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs and histories in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection within scope of training.
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing high patient flow.
