Job summary

CBH Care in Morris Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time staff member to supervise a community residential group home and ensure essential coverage during daily operations.

You will assist consumers with personal care goals, provide medication education, observe self-administration, and participate in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, with opportunities for clinical supervision in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work, BS/BA in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field.
• BA in unrelated field with two years of previous experience
• AA with two years of experience in mental health/human services
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site daily supervision and essential coverage to consumers in a community residential group home program
• Responsible for assisting consumers with their personal care goals, providing medication education, and observing their self-administration of prescribed medications
• Performs crisis intervention services as needed and reports all consumer concerns to the group home manager
• Participates in the development of consumer activities and encourages consumers to participate in all social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
