Job summary

Compcare in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a full-time supervisor for a community residential group home program. You will supervise on-site daily operations, support consumers with personal care goals, provide medication education, and oversee safe self-administration of meds.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work, BS/BA in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field
• BA in unrelated field with two years of previous experience
• AA with two years of experience in mental health/human services
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site daily supervision and essential coverage to consumers in a community residential group home program
• Assists consumers with their personal care goals, provides medication education, and observes their self-administration of prescribed medications
• Performs crisis intervention services as needed and reports all consumer concerns to the group home manager
