Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) – Home & Community (Part‑Time → Full‑Time Path)

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA. Part‑time Pay: $23.00‑$28.00/hr. Base Hourly Rate (based on education and experience): $20.00‑$25.50/hr.

Role Overview

As a Part‑Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings—homes, schools, and community environments. You will work under BCBA supervision while building experience and hours toward a full‑time schedule if desired.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
• Implement treatment plans across home, school, and community settings
• Use play‑based, individualized strategies to engage children
• Collect accurate session data and progress notes
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills
• Support skill generalization across environments

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions

• Minimum age of 18

• Ability to actively engage in child‑centered play and therapeutic activities
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:

• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
• Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
• Valid driver’s license and punctual attendance
• Comfort working across home, school, and community settings
• No prior ABA experience required – we train you
