Job summary

Bucks IU is seeking a full-time Behavior Analyst to provide high-quality services in behavioral assessment, positive behavior support, and data-driven instruction within Bucks County districts. The role emphasizes collaboration with classroom staff, IEP alignment, and proactive intervention planning.

Experience implementing evidence-based practices, conducting FBAs, and training staff is essential. The position offers full-time hours, with a 193-day calendar and weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate through BACB
• BACB Behavior Analyst Supervisor Certification or willingness to earn this credential (required to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians).

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments (FBA) (indirect and direct measures)
• Prescribe positive behavior support plans based on FBA
• Prescribe feasible systems of progress monitoring
• Provide staff training and consultation on prescribed interventions and/or progress monitoring
• Modeling and feedback of prescribed procedures
• Provide routine consultation on a mutually agreeable schedule with the classroom teacher in accordance with the IEP (Individualized Education Plan)
• Attendance at IEP’s for students with PBSP’s (Positive Behavior Support Plan)
• Assist classroom staff with summarizing progress monitoring data as needed for progress reports and IEP’s
