Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
  • Provide attentive, friendly, professional service.
  • Maintain knowledge of cocktail menu, wine list, and beer selections.
  • Take orders, process payments, manage a personal cash bank.
  • Set up, restock, and maintain bar inventory and supplies.
  • Keep bar, lounge, and service areas clean and sanitized.

What you will have an opportunity to do: Overview

The No Name Lounge, located inside the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. This role is responsible for crafting quality beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere that defines our lounge experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Maintain full knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine list, and beer selections.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, process payments, and manage a personal cash bank.
  • Set up, restock, and maintain bar inventory, garnishes, tools, and supplies.
  • Ensure the bar, lounge, and service areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards.
  • Check guest identification and follow all alcohol service laws and hotel policies.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the bar for the next shift.
What are we looking for?

Previous bartending experience required; hotel or upscale lounge experience preferred Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs Professional appearance and positive attitude Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
