Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking enthusiastic bartenders to join our fast-paced team. You’ll prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and make beverage recommendations while delivering efficient service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and hospitality experience, plus at least two years in bartending at a high-volume bar or restaurant. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, along with comfort using POS and tablets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or higher required.
2 years of bartending in a high-volume bar/restaurant.
General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use technology (POS, tablets, computers).
Experience working on a team.
Ability to work quickly in a clean, organized, efficient manner.
Sense of ownership in all duties.

Responsibilities

Serve guests efficiently, follow steps of service, prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and make beverage recommendations.
Food running to serve bar and bar area guests.
Prep and stock bar for service period to ensure smooth operation.
Clean glasses, tools, utensils, and bar equipment.
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and ingredients.
Offer personalized beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
Maintain knowledge of beers, wines, and liquors.
Process payments following cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and coolers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
