Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver for Wilmington, DE. You will patrol banking offices and surrounding areas, deter unauthorized activity, and respond to incidents with professional, customer-focused service.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least 1 year in security, and compliance with background checks and drug testing. Superior communication and teamwork enable a safe, reliable workplace.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
