Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Customer Service to join our team. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts, providing reliable income and hands-on experience.

The position requires a valid driver's license, comfort using a computer or tablet, and prior customer service or access control experience.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and vehicle records, and report unauthorized activity according to site-specific procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
