Job summary

Heritage Bank is seeking a bank teller for our Hillsboro, Oregon branch. This full-time onsite role supports customers with routine financial transactions, cash handling, and branch sales efforts while delivering exceptional service.

The position offers Level I/II tracks with hourly pay ranges and requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma. Training and staffing flexibility are provided to cover shifts and absences.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience (Level I)
• 1 year cash handling and customer service in financial services (Level II)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and learn new technologies
• Knowledge of DNA or Fiserv preferred; Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) preferred
• Comply with banking laws and branch policies
• Excellent written and oral communication in English

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships and provides exceptional customer service.
• Performs routine paying/receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer.
• Promotes bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality in customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with policies, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Contributes to branch administrative duties as required.
