Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino is seeking a Baker I to produce a variety of desserts for outlets, events, and banquets. You will read recipes, mix ingredients, bake, decorate, and ensure quality and sanitation across shifts.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, prior commercial kitchen baking experience, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment. ServSafe certification is preferred or obtainable, and you must be 18+ with eligibility for a tribal gaming license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial kitchen baking experience required.
• Ability to operate mixers, ovens, microwaves.
• Knowledge of FIFO rotation.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required or obtainable.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all dessert menu items for outlets, banquets, and events.
• Read and follow recipes; measure and combine ingredients.
