Job summary

Bon Appétit is hiring immediately for a full-time Baker at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. The role requires two years of baking experience and offers a fixed pay rate of $24.40 per hour, five days a week with hours varying by interview.

Applicants must be able to perform duties according to recipes and production specs. As part of Compass Group, the Baker will contribute to scratch-made baking using fresh, local ingredients while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Two years of baking experience is required.
• Experience with breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and pastries is desirable.
• Ability to work full-time, five days per week, with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production sheets.
• Ensure recipes and standards are followed and ingredients are used correctly.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in all areas of the kitchen.
• Assist with production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Handle customer interactions professionally and address concerns.
