Job summary

Burlington Stores in New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations, manage the receiving and merchandise flow, and partner with store management to drive results.

You will supervise unloading, keep back of house clean, ensure asset protection, schedule adherence, and coach associates while supporting recruiting and weekly workload planning; a path to store leadership awaits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standards.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following company guidelines.
• Coordinate workload planning and direct associates to achieve productivity targets.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings and support community relations programs.
