Qualifications

  • Completed a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
  • Illinois and/or Indiana licensure in Audiology.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and analytic ability to diagnose clients’ problems and develop rehabilitation plans.
  • Ability to supervise student clinicians.
  • Professionalism, flexibility and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work with others and keep customer service a priority.
  • Capable of meeting a high volume, variable caseload and maintaining strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively administer and interpret diagnostic testing for inpatients and outpatients; caseloads range from newborns to geriatric.
  • Provide comprehensive auditory rehabilitation services to all age ranges.
  • Participate in clinical projects such as cochlear implants, newborn screening, hearing aid dispensing or vestibular assessment.
  • Support Rush University Medical Center’s education and service-related missions.
  • Meet clinical and professional competencies standards as defined in the CDS Clinical Career Ladder.
