Job summary

Chicago ENT is seeking an Audiologist to diagnose and treat hearing disorders, work with internal physicians and external referrals, and guide rehabilitation strategies. You will interpret tests, determine impairment, and provide counseling, ear protection fittings, and communication support.

Role includes supporting marketing efforts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring licensure compliance with 20 CEUs every 2 years. Competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Au.D. or Master’s in Audiology with licensure to practice in Illinois.
• CCC-A certification if supervising externs; strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
• At least 1 year of clinical audiology experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Function as an independent professional and service provider focused on customer service.
• Support otolaryngology physicians during daily patient schedules and see referred patients.
• Administer and interpret tests for hearing impairment; refer to physician when appropriate.
• Plan and implement habilitation or rehabilitation services including hearing aids.
• Perform insurance checks and prior authorizations for hearing aid coverage.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote growth of hearing aid practice.
• Maintain audiological equipment and manage supplies; act as educational consultant when needed.
• Maintain 20 CEU hours every 2 years to comply with licensure.
