Job summary

Chicago ENT - Advanced Center for Specialty Care seeks an Audiologist to diagnose and treat hearing disorders, support physicians, and contribute to marketing initiatives. The role reports to the Lead Audiologist and emphasizes outstanding patient service.

Requirements include Au.D. or M.A. in Audiology, CCC-A if supervising externs, strong organization, and excellent communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EClinicalWorks preferred; Illinois audiologist licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Au.D. or Master’s degree in Audiology.
• CCC-A required if supervising student externs.
• Strong organizational skills essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical-thinking abilities.
• Minimum of one year of clinical audiology experience preferred; recent graduates considered.
• Proficiency with PC-based computers, Microsoft Office, and EMR systems like EClinicalWorks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient service as an independent audiology professional.
• Support otolaryngology physicians and see referrals for hearing aid services.
• Schedule, administer and interpret air/bone conduction and speech tests.
• Evaluate results with information from families, teachers and other professionals.
• Schedule and interpret electrophysiological testing including OAE.
• Introduce new testing modalities and technology.
• Plan habilitation or rehabilitation services including hearing aid fitting.
• Perform insurance checks and prior authorizations for hearing aid coverage.
• Create and implement marketing strategies to promote growth.
• Maintain and calibrate audiological equipment; order supplies.
• Act as a consultant to educational, medical and other groups.
• Maintain 20 CEU hours every 2 years for licensure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
