42North Dental in Montoursville, PA is seeking a full-time general dentist to join our team. The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from the initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, creating and discussing treatment plans, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards and professional ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
