Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist in Montoursville, PA to join our team of dedicated clinicians. The dentist will manage the patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office services across general dentistry and related specialties.

Responsibilities include diagnosing conditions, creating treatment plans, and maintaining records, while delivering high-quality preventive and restorative care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Engage in ongoing continuing education.
