Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies seeks an experienced Porter for a 222-unit Market Rate Apartment Community in Atlanta, GA. The role supports maintenance, landscaping, and property care to ensure high-quality living experiences and first impressions.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, is Full-Time, and requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years' related experience. Apartment industry experience is preferred and the company emphasizes a drug-free workplace and equal opportunity

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required with 1–2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Apartment industry experience is preferred.
Maintenance knowledge including dusting, vacuuming, and general cleanliness is required.
Detail oriented, reliable, and able to manage time well.

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains the property across various areas (walkways, decks, hallways, lobby, pool, and amenities).
Empty and transport trash to disposal areas.
Assist with turning vacant apartments and prepare surfaces for painting as assigned.
Operate blower, mow and trim grass, and pressure clean common areas as needed.
Ensure inventory items are in good working condition.
Adapt to indoor and outdoor work environments and withstand temperature variations.
Perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and climbing ladders as required.
