AWI Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Monterey Park apartment community. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents and ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests.

The ideal candidate will have general building maintenance experience, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, and will be comfortable coordinating with vendors and the Property Manager. Obamacare compliance statement optional.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Experience with landscaping and groundskeeping.
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Complete maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal.
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to arrange vendors and order supplies.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Report lease or house rule violations when observed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
