Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island in Manhasset, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data.
• Direct the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to identify a care plan.
• Educate patient/family regarding health status and plan of care.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Coordinate unit activities to provide patient care.
• Support nursing staff and students as a preceptor.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts to meet goals.
