AMR is hiring an Ambulance Operator (Driver) to respond to emergency and non-emergency transport requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients. The role requires maintaining a safe vehicle, documenting trip details, and coordinating with dispatch and fleet teams.

This is a full-time opportunity with starting hourly rates listed as $10.50+ DOE. Ideal candidates will hold a state driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and a CPR card (preferred).

Qualifications

• State Driver’s License is required.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CPR card preferred.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and/or non-emergency requests for transportation and deliver high-quality patient care and customer service.
• Clearly document trip information details and adhere to policies while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment, complete the pre-shift mechanical checklist and report vehicle issues to Fleet Manager.
