AMR is hiring an Ambulance Operator (Driver) to respond to emergency and non-emergency transport requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients. The role requires maintaining a safe vehicle, documenting trip details, and coordinating with dispatch and fleet teams.

This is a full-time opportunity with starting hourly rates listed as $10.50+ DOE. Ideal candidates will hold a state driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and a CPR card (preferred).

• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! AMBULANCE OPERATOR FULL-TIME Opportunity

We’re hiring Ambulance Operators that will respond to emergency and/or non-emergency requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
• Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
• Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company’s information security standards.
• Drivers will operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair as well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• State Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CPR card (Preferred)
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
