Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time role with hourly rates starting at $21.50 plus DOE. Responsibilities include evaluating call scenarios, delivering advanced medical care with paramedic equipment, communicating with patients and families, and leading on-scene operations.

You will drive ambulances on 911 responses and collaborate with health and safety teams. Required qualifications include a State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic, plus a valid

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
State Paramedic License.
State Driver’s License.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare work experience.

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following progressive Paramedic protocols.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
