Job summary

The Dimock Center is seeking an Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to manage patient admissions for Acute Treatment Services during peak hours. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, ensure safe patient placement, maintain regulatory compliance, and coordinate with admissions staff, providers, and behavioral health personnel.

This full‑time role offers three 12‑hour shifts (11:00 AM–11:00 PM) with a competitive hourly salary of $50–$55, requiring Massachusetts RN licensure and CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in detoxification or behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing admission assessments.
• Review referral information and hospital charts for ATS admission.
• Coordinate with admissions, providers, and clinical staff on decisions.
• Obtain and document medical histories and allergies.
• Perform withdrawal and vital sign assessments as indicated.
• Document nursing actions in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate admissions from hospitals, EDs, shelters, and community providers.
• Administer medications per provider orders and ensure safety.
