Job summary

The Dimock Center is seeking an Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to manage admissions for patients entering Acute Treatment Services. You will lead the admission process during peak hours, ensure timely assessments, and coordinate with providers, admissions staff, and behavioral health personnel.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in detoxification, behavioral health, emergency nursing, addiction medicine, or medical-surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing admission assessments.
• Review referral information to determine medical appropriateness for ATS admission.
• Coordinate admissions from hospitals, EDs, shelters and community providers.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Coordinate admissions and transfers as needed.
• Administer medications according to orders.
